About us
Martin Riley Ba(hons) FRSA
Martin has 17 years' experience in relationships coaching, performance coaching, therapy and as a leadership consultant. He started his professional life as an award-winning product designer, following a passionate interest in how people live their everyday lives.
Martin's understanding of design and his fascination with our ability to shape our future - not always for the best - started his quest to understand human behaviour; leading to extensive work with Jungian, Freudian and Physian (postmodern) psychologists in London and New York, and alternative therapist and performance coaches around the world.
As a founder of Re-Balance, Martin works with both private and corporate clients wishing to make changes in all areas of life. With private clients he specialises in family and personal relationships.
Martin Pring MBA MSc

Martin is also a qualified councellor, holds a Master in Business Studies as well as other qualifications in education and training.
Martin now runs his own coaching practice in the Midlands but is able to offer the Re-Balance approach to clients in that area.
Jacky Ridsdale BA DipEd MSc EP C.Psychol.
Jacky Ridsdale has more than 15 years' experience as an educational psychologist working with children, parents and schools in assessment, consultation and therapy.
She firmly believes that the positive mental health of children is of paramount importance to the individual child and to society as a whole.
In addition to her role as an educational psychologist with a local authority, Jacky works for a national charity supporting people with learning and development challenges such as dyslexia. She is a member of the British Psychological Society Verifiers group overseeing CCET, the Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing, a group dedicated to exemplary practice in psychometrics.
Motivated by a determination to find more effective ways of helping children and families change their lives for the better, Jacky incorporates the Re-Balance approach in her work. She says: "Re-balance offers a whole new way to make a difference and can effect real change for the better within a manageable period of time."
Jacky's heavy workload means she contributes a consultative role.
Our Philosphy
Re-Balance started as the quest for a simple, respectful, yet profound approach to improving people's lives.
Founders Martin Pring and Martin Riley used their extensive experience to create an approach which would go beyond coaching and therapy. The result was Re-Balance, which draws on a multitude of disciplines and is highly effective.
